I’ve been listening to Nick Cave‘s new album before the concert on Thursday, like an excited schoolgirl. I suppose you can be excited about listening to dark depressive music.

Firefox 1.0 has been released.
Wales was lovely. Very relaxing, I could have stayed a week.
We made lots of good food, went for a walk around a mountain, read books and played games by the open fire.
It’s a shame I’m going to be away for Australian music on Radio 6 but I can always listen to NZ music when I get back.

Every time I see a photo of Bush looking smug and dumb I want to punch the screen. Luckily I’m going to be out of the reach of television and the internet from tomorrow morning until Tuesday.
Planning next year’s trip to Vietnam with Mum has made me think about cycling across Vietnam or Cambodia. I’ve wanted to do it for a long time, and won’t be able to on this trip because Mum never learnt to ride a bike. (Hopefully I’ll get to do some kayaking but it might mean dumping her for a few days.)
We’re probably not going much further south than Hoi An, so maybe I could do a cycling trip through south Vietnam and Cambodia another time. Then again, maybe not, after reading Mr Felix’s cycling blog story about the Cambodian doctor treating his spider bite.
