June 2, 2003 by minke d'antiminke I think my John Howard, Web Server Administrator and Prime Minister of Australia page has made it into someone’s thesis.
It’s a small web out there 🙂
It is indeed 🙂
I’m curious – what made you pick John Howard as an example?
It’s something that Google gets doesn’t do very well 🙂 i.e. generic queries without much qualification. Even though everyone (I hope) in Australia knows who John Howard is, he doesn’t count for much on Google.
So where does Google get context from? Does it find clusters of related words?
London is almost useless as a search term, because it’s so highly spammed. If only there was a ‘-tourist’ phrase.
