Tim Fischer’s ‘gay continental types’ comments, including “Life is too short not to talk straight” and the don’t-quote-this-out-of-context “There are certainly some outstanding German hotel managers who have come to mind who have worked very hard in their positions” led Fraser to say this:
“What I like about Tim Fischer is that he seems like a pretty nice guy who’s just a bit retarded, and we need more politicians like that, because they’re clearly useless for doing anything other than making me laugh.”
which made me laugh every time I read it.
