The threat of legal action prevents us from disclosing the disturbing events that led to People's decision to drop the story, but we can reveal here some of the text and photos that were changed. We would like to make it clear that the staff and publishers of People had nothing to do with this expose, and in no way provided material from the abandoned article.

Published here exclusively, the original photo (with proposed caption) that started People's investigation is shown here for the first time. Even to a casual observer, the green tinged skin of Celine's family is obvious. People published doctored photos of Celine and her family supplied by Celine's agency to avoid a hugely expensive law suit and injunction. People staff returned every copy of the originally supplied photos; while we cannot reveal our sources, some speculate that the leaked photos come from Celine's PR agency, perhaps from an employee disturbed by revelations of Celine's alien past.
People staffers are adamant that the reason they acted to avoid a legal challenge was not because they had anything to fear from the legal process but because they believed that it would be a costly exercise for all parties involved.
